An impervious stockinette is a tubular surgical drape that provides a sterile, fluid-resistant barrier for isolating limbs during orthopedic and other surgeries, preventing fluid strikethrough and protecting both patients and healthcare staff from infection. It features a comfortable, soft inner layer and a non-slip, impermeable outer layer made from materials like polymer film or thermoplastic elastomer (TPE).
