Single use, sterile Butterfly needle blood collection set with pre-attached holder. Some with safety shield which locks over the needle when activated by the user to reduce the risk of an accidental needle stick injury. Used to perform venipuncture for the purpose of collecting venous blood samples for the purposes of in-vitro diagnostic examination.
